Today is the day if you haven’t already voted early.
We are stronger as a country and as a people when more of us vote.
However you do it — mail-in, early voting or standing in line today — please vote.
Whoever and whoever you support, please vote.
I would rather have an opposing candidate win than to win through low voter participation.

We have it easy in Colorado with almost automatic voter registration when you get a driver’s license, ballots automatically mailed to all voters, all ballots can be dropped off or mailed in or filled in at a polling place both before and on Election Day.
So, Sara and I sat at the kitchen table, talked about candidates and proposals, marked our ballots and walked them the 5 blocks down to the drop-off ballot box.
That’s all I have to say — frequent visitors to the Back Porch know I rarely make political posts. Well, in a way this is NOT a political post.
This is a public service announcement: VOTE!
